WHAT A NOVEL IDEA………..

Well, it happened like this, a very sweet girl came into the LSAD library and donated some novels, she said she had read them all and would like to give them to us as she noted that each one had a story line connected to Art (“The Immaculate Deception” by Iain Pears, “Theft” by Peter Carey, “Headlong; A novel” by Michael Frayn.) Well, with that we began a verbal challenge amongst each other- “name a novel about art” (who said Librarians were nerds!) and the competition has now become very, very competitive! We came up with quite a few, for example: ”The girl with the pearl earring” by Tracy Chevalier, “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown, “Cat’s Eye” by Margaret Atwood, ”An Artist of the floating world” by Ishiguro Kazuo... So, come on, give it a go and if you come up with any do let us know….
