We've put Vogue December 2014 at the front display desk for anyone that wants to see this..our recent graduate Olga Profutkina already in British Vogue as a new designer to watch..we're so proud of her!

LSAD LIBRARY During library Ireland Week we're putting different journals that we subscribe to on display at the front issue desk...have a peruse...it will change every day...and there may be some gems there that you never even realised we had!! Oh and DON'T FORGET TO ENTER THE BOOKMARK COMPETITION...we've had loads of entries already ..and as we expected WE ARE QUITE SIMPLY BLOWN AWAY BY YOUR TALENT!

BOOKMARK COMPETITION

BOOKMARK COMPETITION LSAD Library and LIT Clonmel Library are going to run a ‘BOOKMARK’ competition. Simply pick up one of the blank templates at their library issue desk and LET YOUR CREATIVITY FLOW. A number of winners will be selected at random...because we know it would be quite impossible for us to choose winners from such a talented bunch! The bookmarks will be sold afterwards with all proceeds being divided between ‘Pietá house’and ‘The student hardship fund’.

LIPS 2 ARTISTS' BOOK-MAKING WORKSHOP

LIPS( LIMERICK INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHERS SALON) COMING UP SHORTLY

This is a pop-up artist's book from last year's fabulous LIPS event! The countdown is on to this Year's - 7th -10th October in Ormston House and then onto the Wandsworth gallery in Cork. it promises to be bigger, better and even more exciting!

Well, how excited were we today to flick through the Autumn 'Irish Arts Review' and see a great feature on the 'Culture of Clay' exhibition which runs in the Hunt Museum until 12th of October-beautiful pieces and all exhibitors are past LSAD ceramics students! Then we flicked a little further and found the lovely recent LSAD graduates Éadaoin O'Driscoll and Ali Kirby featured in the article on this year's Irish graduates round up 'Regeneration' Also a beautiful article on Limerick photographer Gerry Andrews and his beautiful exhibition 'Shaped by History'................ Ya it's a right good read...and it's here in LSAD library...

We're always so sad at this time of year as we see all our lovely graduates make their way into the 'big' world...but here's a comforting thought.....and it's so true
