LIBRARY IRELAND WEEK 2008



Yes, its that time of year again when we celebrate the wonderful world of Libraries, Librarians, Information and the Internet Library. Library Ireland Week is happening in Libraries all over the country from the 3rd to the 9th of March and LIT Library is partaking in these celebrations by hosting various special events. First off we have the: Minister Willie O'Dea opening the Launch of Library Ireland Week in the Millennium Theatre Foyer at 2.30pm on the 3rd of March.
Then during the week you could maybe drop into the LIT Library Ireland Week Streetscape to sample some of the atmosphere or pick up some “on the spot online database tuition, some of our pocket Library Guides or maybe the latest edition of the LIT Library Newsletter. Other events include the Library Moodle Quiz which you can enter through the Moodle Virtual Learning Environment using your user name and password; Photographic exhibition, book promotions, User Education Sessions and much more..............
