Richard Ruth Reading

This summer Richard Ruth, Head of LSAD is retiring. We will miss him greatly. We asked him a few bookish questions before he said farewell though! What was your favourite childhood book? “Swiss Family Robinson” by Johann David Wyss What was the book that had the most influence on you in your college days? “Design for the real world” by Victor Papanek If you were stranded on a desert Island what book would you like to have with you? “Goodbye to all that” by Robert Graves What part do you think the library has played in College Life here in LSAD? Nothing but praise for the library. It has been a major catalyst in putting LSAD/LIT to the forefront in art and design education What lovely answers Richard!..and we certainly hope you will be a regular visitor back to the LSAD Library!
